Chances are you have at least one contact that is missing either a Last Name, First Name, or Company on outlook. It must have at least one of these 3 fields in order for it to sync.
Other possible causes are invalid characters or not enough memory, but generally you'll find that you have a contact w/o the above information and you can just add that in and you won't have any problems.
