Default Wrong email address for user - URGENT

I noticed that when a user tries to forward an email to himself, their name is displayed in the To field, but the email address displayed under his name doesnt belong to him - its a external address of someone else.

i have checked their contacts and suggested contacts and this email address doesnt exist anywhere, so why is this happening and how do we resolve it ?
