Although I've seen some 1GB microSD cards hovering around 5 pounds on Amazon UK, they're from Marketplace resellers, who charge 4-5 pounds postage (which is ridiculous for such a tiny item). It's the same at sites like svp.co.uk (Kingston 1GB for under 8 pounds, but something like 4 pounds postage).
