I dont think it will open outlook express only outlook, if I am wrong some one will correct me in a few I am sure, as far as your contacts you have to go into them to edit them they do not pop open at all. Open outlook search for contacts, edit to your hearts content resynch and now your BB should be the same as your contacts in the pc. Synching does nothing more than making sure that your BB and PC have the same, if they are they it is happy, if you make changes in either the next time you synch it will then prompt you as to what the differrence is and whether you want to accept changing the other.
