I would use a GMail solution with Google Sync and Calendar. You've got nearly 60% of the BES solution (as far as PIM sync goes, anyway) - - mail/calendar/contacts.
You can configure Gmail to receive Yahoo mail, but sending out as Yahoo might not be as easy, at least from what I know.
