First of all, I am using my USB cable to connect my Laptop to my Bold, it works very good where and getting a 3G connection is pretty simple.
Regarding the price, I was paying $30 a month for BB BIS plan, now for tethering they are charging me an additional $30 (total of $60) a month. The only problem I have with the price is that it has a 5GB cap, there will be some who will ask - "what happens if you go over 5GB?" the answer is don't even try; I was charged close to $3,000 (YES, THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS) when I generally pay around $275-$300 for a family talk plan with 5 lines... if someone here knows how to get it cheaper or at least take off that 5GB limit, please post it!
