nearly connected, but the number dialed is wrong!
I have my Ubuntu laptop connecting to the phone and making the call, but the number that chat sends to the modem is always prefixed with an 8!!
in my connect script I have
'' ATZ
'' ATDT*99#\n
I tried waiting for 'OK' but that just hangs; the 8100 must respond with some other code for ATZ, but '' should work, and I do see the phone attempt to make a call, only it complains that there is extra junk in the command, and it tries to call
8*99#
if I leave the \n off of the dial string, it tries to call 8*99
what could be going on here?
