Thanks for your replies - I've been to the FAQ and yep, everything is minimal, switched off, etc.

In the past couple of days I've not been playing any music. I've made one phone call a day, received about 30 emails, haven't been on the social media sites (they are configured to check every 2hrs). It was fine for the first few days, then Tuesday night it just started playing up.
For future reference if anyone else has the same issues, here are the battery % :
7:30 100% 13:10 40% 15:40 10%
