Also I've notice with BES 4.0. When you upgrade, you will have to reactivate the remote users' devices. This isn't as bad as it sounds, as 4.0 can be activated and completely setup wirelessly.

What you will have to do on an upgrade is upgrade BES (the database will convert and keep all the users data). Upgrade devices. Have the users upgrade their device and restore the data (fairly simple procedure all done with the apploader). Then you can tell BES to send a password to the devices to remotely activate them. The users will get this password via email (not on the blackberry though), along with instructions on how to wirelessly activate it. Most of our users are VERY tech-illiterate and haven't had any real problems in doing this though. Just be prepared for it however.
