Default Re: Will Windows Phone 7 end BlackBerry's enterprise dominance?

I realize this is off topic, but it's noteworthy so I thought I would pass along...

Hotmail switched to HTTPS throughout your session on the web as opposed to just the login. This makes Hotmail as secure as Gmail when accessing from the web. Keep in mind if you use Outlook Connector it won't work properly anymore. So only make the switch if you aren't using the Outlook Connector.

To do it just log into you Hotmail account and go to "Account" and then under "Other Options" select "enable HTTPS."

Also, the setting used to set up Hotmail through WP7 is m.hotmail.com. That setting gives you the sync. When you put that setting through an iPhone you have a choice to enable SSL or not. WP7 doesn't give you a choice - I am currently investigating what that means (maybe they set it up to use only SSL.) Has anybody put that new Hotmail setting through the BIS??? Wondering what it does. Maybe it will deliver Hotmail IMAP through the BIS...???...
