Currently it will work for any phone. It uses forwarding, so if you do have a mobile, it will still use your minutes. There is no VoIP yet. Also, all SMS is strictly web based (at least for the Blackberry). There is no available application yet.

Penguin is correct, it can forward to up to 6 phones at the same time. No small feat. This is fantastic for the small business owner, or someone who has multiple offices or occasionally works from home.

Currently, I have no use for it because I am attached to my cell at all times, and dont have multiple office phones. That may be my problem though, and not google's.
