Default need help

We just got a BES server last week. Since my director did not want to have a test user and the COO made the choice that he will be our tester(bad choice).

Right now i am stuck on why he can not get any email since sat afternoon. The only thing that was change is that i had to reboot the server for MS patches. I have tried to send the service books to but did not get any alert that it has received. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what i should start with?
