My thoughts on this are well known: It makes no difference. Radio use is what uses the battery up, and the OS doesn't use a radio, it just moves from screen to screen and grabs programs. People claim it makes a difference but there's no proof, and when you swap the OS it does shut down all the radios and resets everything. One thing always happens with a new phone: the battery sucks. That's because they're using lots of stuff, they install software that runs in the background, use GPS/BT, don't really know what's going on, and the battery dies and it's the OS of course. Then they get it sorted out and change the OS and all of a sudden the battery is better so that was the problem. Then they post it and everyone wants to do the OS thing right away. I don't think so. I still use the original .114 OS and my battery lasts 2-3 days. When the battery seems to drain faster I battery pull and that fixes it. It really depends on how much I talk.
