Maybe one OS will work better for your circumstances over another, but I doubt that it is an answer for everyone.

Many times, an OS upgrade fixes one thing, such as improved battery performance, but it breaks something else. My advice has always been if your device really works the way you want it to, then don't try to fix it with an upgrade. It is easy enough to carry and plug into a charger when needed.
OS had a heck of a lot to do with it when you had .114 installed on your phone when you first bought it... I upgraded to .206 and the difference with the battery was night & day.
