Thanks. Actually, I should have thought about it myself.
I did revert to the stock theme and the blinking indicator was back up. No big issue, as I like the Spring theme, but I am actually surprised by the fact that RIM developed this theme, not a funky company. Shouldn't they know better, coding-wise ??
