Default Re: Model that allows apps to use Bluetooth earpiece

thank you pshift, I will check if my Plantronics Pro has the A2DP capability. It is one of the most expensive BT on the market, so I surly hope so. Yes I have OS 4.5 on my BB.
I'm using the drivesafe.ly application that reads out loud the emails. I have a job where I have to multitask and just listening to the emails while doing something else makes life easier. I gate 100-200 emails a day. Some important some not so much. It is great, but with my 8330 it only reads to speaker. The application does have BT suppoirt. In the car I can't hear it, and on the office meetings sometimes creates some embarrassing moments because I can't really stop crude advertisers.
Endre

Well.. just looking at Plantronics Voyager Pro and Pro+.. neither has A2DP capabilities. The most expensive BT and no A2DP. Wonderful. So it might not has to do with the Curve 8330. It is the BT.
