Default Decrypting Media Card Files

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched through the forums as well as the RIM website regarding methods to transfer encrypted files (decrypting the file during the process) from my encrypted media card to the computer.

According to RIM,
Only the the Media Manager for BlackBerry® Desktop Manager 4.2.1 will read encrypted files. Roxio® Media Manager for BlackBerry® smartphones uses USB Mass Storage and currently does not support encrypted media cards.
Could someone confirm for me if the old Media Manager for Desktop Manager 4.2.1 will actually decrypt files when copying encrypted Media Card files to your computer?

And if this is the case, can I simply uninstall Desktop 4.2SP2 and install 4.2SP1? I currently have the OS loaded on my computer as well, and didn't know if reverting to an earlier version of Desktop Manager would force me to re-install the OS on my device.
