You can share a UNC path on another computer if you wish, it should work the same way. You will need to install the BlackBerry Manager on that machine to get it to work correctly.

Besides if you have no software configurations and application policies your handhelds aren't locked down at all and your BES could be subject to BBProxy if your users download it.
