Removing BSE Skin
Just an update in this thread. As said in my thread, I made a warranty return to T-Mo.
Before returning the old phone [if a Sept. 18 received cell phone is old], I cleaned it up, which included removing the BSE skin covering the phone.
[Except for the back/battery cover, which I kept].
Anyway, the BSE skin easily removed as advertised. And there was no cleanup required, no glue, no sticky residue, nothing. I simply shined it up with some Windex.
Shipped back, the Pearl looks shiny new. There was not a mark on the phone. In fact it looked so perfect that I inserted a post-it note inside the battery compartment saying that the phone's speaker was defective. I was concerned that someone at T-Mo might erroneously think the phone should be put into the refurb/redistribute pile.
