I got mine today. I've been using the 8700C for 6-7 months.

8703 is definitely slower. Things like changing themes take noticeably longer. However, the browser is noticeably faster. So far the processor isn't slow enough to be annoying to me, and the browser is fast enough that it's a worthwhile upgrade. Other than that, the main difference is that Verizon coverage is way better here than Cingular.
