Currently, RIM OS 4.0 doesn't support refreshing or forwarding the location information. Trusted word from many of Nextel's location services partners have quoted an early April target for applicatons such as CometTracker, Gearworks, Telenav/Telenavtrack and others to land on your 7520.

This being said, all of these applications require some sort of logon or clock-in. Indeed losing the convert aspect of the GPS utilization.

The only Nextel Location Service that operates covertly is Mobile Locator, which wil show the last five known locations of a device in the preferred order: AGPS, Neareast iDEN Tower. And can also ping a device in real-tim

for now the BB7520 would be located to the nearest cell tower (not triangulated)

So yes, they could be glancing at you now.....
....but they'll be recording your every move later.
