hmm... odd, but at least we've found the most likely cause ;)

just to verify, follow these steps to be sure we aren't missing something in the setup process:

1) Go to Options->TCP
2) enter your TCP network info
3) Push the scroll wheel
4) Select "Save"
5) you should now see the Options list with "TCP" highlighted
6) hit "Back" (button below scroll wheel)
7) Scroll to the last option on the main menu, "Power Off" and select it
8) wait for BB to power down
9) remove your battery, re-insert battery
10) once your main menu appears return to Options->TCP and see if your settings were saved

see if that does the trick.
