ok guys first off a big hello to you all and respects for any help

im new to blackberry so need some help with a blackberry bold 9780 i just been giving with a charger and no instructions

the mobile was on orange pay as you go,so i thought great so i read about and done a security wipe on it and install my rolling sim into it

on the display orange comes up and ive got signal but i cant make or reciev calls and the same with message

is it not a case of just inserting my sim and away i go or do i have to register the phone some how to get it to work
