So... I spoke with my IT folks. They said that they have the appropriate ports blocked.. and combined with the multi level secured protection of the domain, no proprietary data can be accessed.
Uh.. yeah.. whatever all that means.... Bottom line is m:IQ is only allowed to access my Outlook calendar, address book, and multimedia items on the device. No Outlook email data. Interestingly, it doesn't pick up/sync any BIS info either.
Ok..so Spare me the flames if I misspoke here or misrepresented the technical summary, as this port/domain stuff is CLEARLY not my forte. But you get the gist... MY IT guys are cool with the m:IQ app and it does what it should: backs up contacts, photos, videos (that reside both on the device and on the sd card).
