The only problem with your test is that there is a lot of human responsibility. You could have spoke slightly louder with one phone, or held it at a slightly different angle and that could have caused a lot of variance in the test. I would love to see Consumer Reports or someone similar do a voice quality test. (Actually, I'd be surprised if they didn't do that - looking now.)
