Stopped into my Verizon store here in Birmingham, AL to have an issue (wink wink) with my Curve checked out. Hinted that I was interested in the Storm and would probably pay retail for it. General Manager was standing behind the tech at the counter and he said hold on to your Curve for about another week or so. In the mean time he had me sign an "allocation list". Only people on that list would get first crack, or first right of refusal.
He couldn't tell me more than that, but suggested I'd hear from them soon. Had to leave name, number and email.
