Nothing will work while away from from campus. You would have to switch to a GPRS/CDMA/iDEN device before you go home (if you wanted email while not at work)

The carrier has to authorize bundle distribution to the company you work for. If they say you cannot get the 7510 bundle then you can't download it. However, 4.0 will work on ALL 7xxx series HHs.

Opening attachments is not a functionality of Desktop Redirector. You need either a BES or BWC. Another functionality not available with Desktop Redirector is Wireless Email Reconciliation.
