Best way to save on battery life...lower your back light brightness to 50-60 its not noticeable and it helps a lot with a lot of heavy use i can go 2 days without charging...just my 2 cents!!

The 9700 its from rogers unlocked and i use...

I have an unlocked 9650 that im using on fido the only problem is that im getting is most of my incoming calls are showing as unknown caller is there some setting to change that....any idea??

Most of the App work under a Data Plan you can download third party apps via wi-fi but without the BB Data plan your javelin is just a phone!!

On the instant messaging folder hit the berrys and hit hide it will show you all your apps that are hidden...may be it works for you!!!

Basically a data plan its the heart of your blackberry, a lot of apps wont work without it, you need a blackberry data plan to have BBM and its not that expensive!!!

No it wont work since the javelin uses sim card and bell uses the sim card for overseas or international usage, which means bell still runs on cdma!!!

Nobody charges for a sim card unless you are with a different service provider and most of them will carry only 3G sim cards....im running my 8900 on a 3G even thou im on edge!!!

I've been running the 4.6 os for about 2 weeks...

I've been running the 4.6 os for about 2 weeks and a half and so far the Curve its been working at is maximum performance and the battery last longer than when i got the phone!!!!
I rate the OS...
