I thought they disabled the internal GPS on the VZM 8703e? Are you using a bluetooth GPS? I can not get my internal GPS to work with gmm on my sprint 8703e either, i think it just isn't supported yet.

BEWARE: For me, updated the OS to the latest 4.2...

BEWARE: For me, updated the OS to the latest 4.2 via the Sprint website (on my Sprint 8703e) resulted in losing my BES activation, which was quite annoying for a little while.

I have an 8703e and so far BBMaps is the only application i can get to successfully aquire GPS position. I use sprint so from what i understand, it should not be locked.
