I recently upgraded to the latest leaked OS and the Directv Superfan app is working for me. On initial start up I got the error message but did a battery pull and all is well.

Use OS .148

What you failed to see when you downloaded the app is the message that said you had to be running a original release OS which is v4.7.0.148. If you are a running a "leaked" OS the app will not work....
