I am reding more in depth about the 5.0 release and see there are a bunch of bugs -- hot batteries, not compatible with apps, call failures, etc...

Might be worth the wait to get an official...

Options > Advanced Options > Browser and set the default browser to HotSpot Browser.

But - If you are using a Bold, you need a data plan. :-)...
