I upgraded my 8700 yesterday to the 4.2 and under...

I upgraded my 8700 yesterday to the 4.2 and under firewall settings I have an option to block SMS, PIN and email, I haven't tried it out yet, but do have the option.

Been using Telstra since it was released and no problems either. I do quite a bit of browsing, making and receiving calls along with using Mobipocket Reader and battery seems to do fine.

Go to options, advanced options, applications, modules, go down to opera modules delete oldest or smallest version number. Exit out then go back to applications and you can delete existing version....
