Have done, the manager is the one refusing to acknowledge any problem. Sure, it can still be used, but, there is a weak spot of the lcd screen which the company curve, or my previous curve does not...

The earpiece is the one in the phone - other earpieces are ok.

Managed to get a brand new replacement - just waiting for a screen protector to get sent to me, then ready to use the phone again....

Absolutely not - it is a well known fact that you need to get your phone regularly serviced. Especially important with the radiation it can emit if not done - just like the annual house boiler...

Well, played about with the 2G/3G, when on 2G worked perfectly. When on either 3G or the self select 2G/3G, it had the same problem xxx8211; full bars, but does not make or receive calls.

I had a siimilar problem with the 8520, went back to Phones 4 U for 8 months before they gave up. Better luck with yours! (I did manage to get a 9300 in exchange though :) )
