Ramble for 8130 Verizon not working?

I just downloaded Ramble and it never makes it past the "please wait, logging in" message. All permissions set to allow, battery pulled, not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

I use WebMessenger and it seems to work fine...it uses AIM, ICQ, Y!, GTalk, etc, but it would work fine as just an AIM clone too. I'm pretty new, so perhaps this just hasn't had time to die on me...
