I fixed it, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the OS. then restoring all data, all is good now. Thanks.

1. connect your phone via USB
2. Backup all important contents with the blackberry...

Thanks Zombie but it seems I lost my defualt texting app because I get uncaught exception: java.lang.nvllpointer exception error when booting. I guess I have to reload the operating system, I have...

I can't find my instant messaging icon anywhere. there is nothing in the instant messaging folder either. How do I get that back? I have a curve. Thanks.
