Is BB Messenger really the problem?

I am having battery issues, not making it through a full day on a charg.

I have it set to EDGE (not 3g), 10% brightness and not many 3rd party apps.

i do 75 or 80 emails a day and maybe 40...

I've pinpointed the problem to having the phone in 3g (either 36 or "3g + 2g" and having wifi on.

If 3g is on without wifi, there doesnt seem to be a problem...

my Bold crashed today....

here goes...

was getting "call failed" on over 50% of my outgoing calls so I pulled battery.

when it booted up, i got a blank screen with "App Error 205 Reset". clicked reset and the same thing...

Maximum download size??

I tried to open and/or download an attachment that was 4 MB and i was surprised to get a message saying "exceeds maximum download size of 2.9MB"
