whats the point unless your thinking of swithing providers. I would jsut wait it out (90 days) then contact tmo for the unlock code for free. there really isnt a benefit for unlocking the phone...

You dont get it, one if you defrag the card often then it should run at peek performance. 2nd having the 4gb card eliminates having to have multi devices.

one thing you might want to check is options on the phone itself then advanced and then TCP and set your APN to your provider for example tmo is wap.voicestream.com. not sure what cingular's is off...
