Hi whenever I get a call and i pick it up the person on the other end cant hear me at all until like 4 seconds after i answer the call.. whats wrong?

Hi I bought some ear phones that fit into the blackberry but sound only comes out of one ear. Then I bought an adapter and used the headphones from my ipod and still sound only comes out of one ear....

i had to go to my inbox and then go to view...
