No re-activation is needed. Just assign the new mail profile to the user. This will remove the old account and add the new one without the need for any user action.

As Z10 and iPhones are using ActiveSync, you just have to create a new mail profile pointing to the new Exchange 2013 server. Once you have migrated the user to the new Exchange, assign the new mail...

I am not familiar with KNOX but on the Blackberry devices you also have a device password and a Work Space password.

You can set a policy to have both passwords the same and unlocking the device...

All Blackberry OS 10 devices that go through BES 12 are using ActiveSync. So you have to do some ActiveSync troubleshooting on your Exchange server, look at logs etc.

BES does not really touch...

Secure Connect Plus is only needed when you need connections on other ports than 80 and 443 or for streaming etc. It establishes a VPN that bypasses MDS but still uses the Blackberry infrastructure....

I am having the exact same issue as the original poster. Upgraded from
12.0.1 to 12.1.0. After the upgrade the admin console stays blank. Same errors in the UI log. 8 GB RAM, 50% used.

Both is true. BES 5 does not support BB 10 devices. The successor product, BDS, does support BB 10 devices.

There is no integration, BDS and BES5 are separate products.

No, you mixed something up there. You should upgrade from 5.0.3 to 5.0.4. You don't need 5.0.3 and 5.0.4 in parallel.

In May 2013: Setup BES10 (or migrate BDS to BES10). BES5 and BES10 can happily sit on the same server.

@Qster: I don't think that this IT policy exists in BES Express. One of the differences of Express to the Full version is that Express has about 40 policies and Full BES has about 400 policies.
