you can do a selective back up by lookng on the advanced tab under backup.Remember you have to turn off wireless sync for the apps you want to do a selective backup(contacts and memo in your case)

Try one with cradle activation and the other OTA,This will give both the options but this is not recommended hence not documented but it works.Another option is go BIS for the othe raccount.

This would not work as DM activation happened only when the device is already activated with the same mailbox.Try a cradle activation through the server annd see if it helps.
