if its hard to power on,2 things is for sure,
the battery is super lowbat or insufficient supply to be able to power on your unit..try to use OEM batteries..
or...your power on button is...

we called it "rebooting or hang-up" we usually verify first on the battery.using OEM battery ill chrge the battery through PC,then if the problem persist..im trying to reload the OS and its gonna be...

rubbing alcohol is ok to use to clean ur track pad.its easy to evaporate...
if its still underwarranty..take it to the shop.
if its not..u can dis assemble ur track pad and clean the connector...

on my experience...8900 track ball my cause keypad malfunctioning...and also no power,

i suggest..try to remove 1st ur track ball and test the keypad..

its in your provider problem bro. try some provider,here in my place we called it registration failed but test call passed. and test the fullphone technically...so try to use another provider like us...

these units are used,im refurbishing these phones,they failed on rf test,even a 911 testcall cannot connect...regarding the 8330m,the only passed on RF test is having...
