I will continue to look for a solution. so far none of the other Forums for blackberry phones seem to have a fix. Apparently the upgrade of various BB phones causes a lot of issues. I would suggest...

Not sure this will work on a PRIV but generally Blackberry's with a physical keyboard by holding the S key down will allow a search for a file.
