What exactly does the BBalert app do you referenced ? Alert you when and for what. I can find nothing on this app based on the information you gave so far. The "alert" type apps for various thing...

Changing the device pin is not possible but changing to a new Blackberry phone and keeping the various associations with Blackberry ID is possible.
