Despite plausibility of BB or Tmo deactivating SIMs, I think this has nothing to do with OS. I have a more likely scenario: The recent upgrades in Tmo's network to 3G is causing un-intended issues...

Were it not plagued by white text on white background, this would be a fantastic theme. It also won't load on 4.5 ;-) , but this is a minor issue for most folks out there (for now)
