Take off the back cover, take out the battery and put the BlackBerry (without the battery) in a sealed bag of rice for a few days (not hours) to try and draw the water out. It may be too late, but...

First thing to try is popping the battery out and then back in.
And a question - was the BlackBerry dropped or did it get wet or even damp?
