Nope it was never dropped. The phone has never gotten wet. The new trackpad worked perfectly the first day. And it was lying on my desk for about the whole time so nothing out of the ordinary...

New Trackpad Dead?
After having my phone about 3 months, my trackpad just stopped working. After trying everything(reboot, cleaning etc..) it still didn't work so I have replaced it. My new trackpad has worked nicely...
