try upgrading the OS to the newest one online...

try upgrading the OS to the newest one online (not necessarily the current at&t version). I have found that makes a HUGE difference on these 9700s

The difference is night and day! ON my old 9000 I had to keep bluetooth and wifi off unless i needed to use it for a small period of time and still the battery would be drained at the end of the day....
