There are also, apparently, data recovery softwares out there -- like the data isn't extracted and deleted upon deletions, but new data just layers over its traces, is my limited and perhaps mistaken...

I think maybe I was misunderstood? The icon for the Media Player, it looks like a square with a play triangle in the center, can only be seen/found when the player is active and only by holding down...

Kind of unconsciounable that there is no native icon for the media player! Have to go into Music Home or press the menu key to get to it when it is active (i.e. after exiting it) -- its always two...

Having had to get a 9800 replacement, I immediately upgraded it to .600 before loading any data from previous phone, and over a few days it seems to be working well.

Have you checked out the TuneIn Radio app (free or Pro paid version) to be found in BB App World? Pretty good app for finding radio stations! The paid version notably also has the ability to RECORD...

When adding contact info to Contacts, say from an email, it would be great iF when going to Menu > Add to Contacts, there was the additional options to Add to Current Contact or Add New Contact....
