Detest the sliding menu bar myself, too bad there is not an option to shut it off. Also too bad that Golf Logix can't get a version of their Golf GPS on work on OS 6.

Didn't quote sjt79, too long. I have the Bold 9650, upgrade every app when notified and I have version 1.9.0.20 for Facebook. I have never had a problem. Under the impression that something else...

VZW newest OS 5 release is 5.0.0.975. You should update to the newest OS, it fixed a few bugs, including memory card errors after a reboot.

The file download seems to be from Sprint, even though we can load it. Maybe being from Sprint is why we haven't seen any type of notification from VZW. Likely VZW doesn't have anything newer than...

The newest I've found from Verizon Wireless is 5.0.0.975, not familiar with .810 nor .983. Guess I'll do a little searching.

Similar here, shoud have tested .975 longer, but my Bold 9650 did quit complaining after updating to 6.0.0.280. Nice to know that 5.0.0.975 fixed the problem also. (y)

A lot more left than that, I only lost about 20 to 25 mb after installing 6.0.0.280.
if you have 300 mb now, suspect it shouldn't be less than 275 mb after install. Of course your mileage may vary.
