Parts and repair will definitely cost more than $100. There is no easy fix so your best (and cheapest) course of action is like tsac said - get a clean used one as a replacement.

Dude, you don't use the same software as the OP. He's using a Z10 and BB Link. You have BlackBerry Desktop Software with your 9700.

If it's from within the app itself, that's the price of a free app. Usually buying the "pro" version will turn off advertising. Nothing you can do about in-app advertising on free apps though.
